Agile | Comradeship | Zealous

Growing up on new wave films from the French riviera and the coast of Malabar, it wasn’t hard not to fall in love with the moving images or freezing one. Having always loved a good backstory, and stalking my favorite cinematographers, I came to the realization that many of them entered their respective fields through ad agencies or through founding one. The bug to immerse myself into the creative space as soon as possible was tingling within.
I remember vividly – there I was having my chai-sutta back in my hometown, fresh out of college, 3 supplementary papers in my kitty and a load of disdain from the immediate world around me – when fate decided to intervene. Amal, my dear comrade of so many years called upon me to let me know that the Gods aren't crazy and good things are in store. I packed my bags and headed for the abyss that was Bengaluru – my prepubescent dream come true.
And so began my career with Axis Vantage, a digital marketing agency. From going to events with shaky hands to showing them how it should be done, from 7-hour work days to pulling a 5-day caffeine-nicotine run while closing on our first TV Spot for PubG, and immediately after, catching a flight to the next shoot – I did nothing but grow, as a team and beyond my past self.
And now? I’m just hungry.
Hungry for better things.
Hungry for a great legacy.
Like Da Vinci once reminisced, “Just as a well-filled day brings blessed sleep, so a well-employed life brings a blessed death.”
Here's to a blessed death.
