From molecular geneticist to content strategist, my growth journey has had an off-center bearing. Passionate about words, people and creating experiences that are memorable, I am fueled by the unconventional (a term I dislike using because of how conventional it is!).

Having completed my research studies in molecular genetics, I started out as a medical writer. Soon realising that a corporate job was not my life's calling, I freelanced as a clinical writer and editor with focus on drug trials, regulatory documents and advertising copies.

To explore a dimension of creativity, I began writing a beauty and lifestyle blog that helped me connect, learn and expand my horizons in a like-minded community. While my blog was a hobby that was a stop-gap of sorts, it taught me to turn opportunities into meaningful experiences. I learnt to create conscious content, become a versatile learner, draw conclusions from data and listen to my audience.

Soon, I began my new quest as a content writer at a digital marketing agency. What started off as a conversation at a coffee shop with the founder turned out to be one of the greatest learning curves of my professional spectrum. I soon progressed to heading the content team, and enjoyed the edge-of-the-seat thrill of client management. I worked closely with a driven team to elevate customer experience and deliver set objectives. Perpetual growth and enthusiasm to perform par excellence were my guiding principles. I stand by them and believe that I can work with teams to help them grow and thrive, that I can create meaningful relationships with all stakeholders, and that I can switch roles to satisfactorily keep the flag hoisted.
